The FUW Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences (FUWJALS) is now accepting submissions for Volume 5, Issue 2, to be published in November 2025. We invite researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original research papers, review articles, short communications, and technical reports in all areas of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
While we welcome submissions in all areas related to Agriculture and Life Sciences, for this issue we are particularly interested in research related to:
All manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal's guidelines:
Manuscripts should be accompanied with a handling fee of N5000 ($20 for foreign authors). Upon acceptance, a publication fee of N25,000 ($400 for foreign authors) applies. Articles exceeding 15 pages incur additional charges of N2,000 ($5) per page.
Please submit your manuscript along with a cover letter to fuwjals@gmail.com. The cover letter should include the title of the manuscript, the authors' names, contact information of the corresponding author, and a brief statement about the significance of the work.

The latest journal metrics reveal that FUWJALS has seen a significant increase in its impact factor, rising from 0.8 to 1.4 over the past year. This 75% increase reflects the growing influence and quality of research published in our journal.
We attribute this positive trend to several factors, including the dedication of our editorial board, the rigorous peer-review process, and most importantly, the high-quality contributions from our authors. The journal continues to attract excellent research from scholars around the world, particularly those focused on agricultural challenges relevant to Africa.
Federal University Wukari is proud to announce that it will host the 5th International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security in Africa (ICSAFSA) from August 10-13, 2025. The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, farmers, and industry representatives to discuss innovative solutions to agricultural challenges facing the continent.
Selected papers presented at the conference will be considered for a special issue of FUWJALS, subject to the journal's standard peer-review process. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, poster sessions, and field visits to showcase sustainable agricultural practices in action.
